About Hiddenone
Hiddenone is a personal site I created a few years back. My original intent was to use this site to log my self-study process for the Cisco CCNA certification. Since then, it has evolved as I added more categories that covered various projects that I have been working on. The domain currently houses this blog, my picture gallery, and any other side-projects that I am working on.Where did the name Hiddenone come from? It comes from an ancient Egyptian god named Amun, who is also called the hidden one. Why did I choose this for the name of the site? I thought it would be an interesting name, and my first choice (codename) was not available at the time.
About the Author
I’m not George Costanza, so I won’t be referring to myself in the third person.I have been interested in technology since I was wearing Ninja Turtles pajamas! At a young age I quickly latched onto my long running hobbies; computers, cars, and home improvement. Networking won my heart in high school when I quickly learned that I was not well-suited for any career that had me sitting in my seat for eight hours a day, five days a week. My current position has afforded me the opportunity to work with a campus network that has experienced great growth over the past few years. My duties include everything from maintaining network services, such as DNS and DHCP, to creating standards-based network designs for major network renovations.
